Art Director Workflow

Goals

The primary goal of the Art Director is to understand, curate, improve and implement Gitcoins visual language. They are responsible for overseeing all design requests to ensure visual consistency.

Hazards

• Poor brand reception - Incongruent visual language application or low quality visuals that fail to reach the quality standard of Gitcoin.

Skill Requirements

The specific skill requirements for this position include:

Strong visual design skills: This includes understanding the principles of color, typography, layout, and image composition.

Conceptual thinking: The ability to conceptualize and visualize creative ideas is crucial for an art director.

Communication: The art director must be able to communicate effectively with the design team, stakeholders, and clients.

Leadership: This role requires the ability to lead a team of designers and manage projects from inception to completion.

Knowledge of design software: Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.

Adaptability: Ability to oversee different projects, from illustrations to video campaigns.
