Design Ops Workflow
Responsibilities
The goal of the Design Operations is to ensure all requests are completed within the client’s designated timeline and budget, without overstepping the capacity of the assigned designer. This includes deciding how to prioritize the new project within the context of pre-existing projects.
Skill Requirements
- Organization: Organizing large quantities of information, including timelines, budgets, communications, and talent resources.
- Understanding of design work: This is important for creating deadlines that are realistic and achievable for the designers.
- Communication Skills: Maintaining clear and open communication channels between the requester, designer, and other team members.
- Quality Control: Ensuring that the final design meets the expected quality standards and satisfies the requester's requirements.
