The primary goal of the IRL Event Coordinator is to ensure the smooth planning and execution of an amazing irl experience

Logistical issues - venue cancelling, things that are not delivered on-time, unexpected cost, sponsors dropping out, wifi not working, bathrooms not working
Timing issues - not executing and getting everything locked down a good amount of time before schelling point
Mismanaged expectations - attendees having a negative experience due to issues such as not having enough food or merchandise, which creates a bad association with event or even worse Gitcoin

The specific skill requirements for this position include:

Web3 Experience: General understanding of the Web3 landscape
Deep Understanding of GC: Ability to translate a brand's narrative and story into user experience
Event planning experience: Having a developed intuition for managing events, including the ability to visualize spaces and foresee internal necessities such as restroom facilities, ventilation, etc. Understanding the attendee experience and being able to visualize what makes an event enjoyable
Collaboration skills: Strong communication and rapport-building skills
Adaptability: Calm and flexibility in a fast-paced work environment
Quality control: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality design output
