- Skills and DAOs
- DAOs are at the bleeding edge of what the media has dubbed "the future of work". DAO workers exercise full autonomy and agency, deciding which projects to work on, with whom and for how long. While DAOs have incredible potential and benefits for members, they also carry inherent gaps. One of these is the lack of formal mechanisms to match projects and people. Another one is the lack of clear pathways or skills trees to progress within the DAO. Join us as we explore this design space with @PhilKomarny and @Andrej.eth and discuss what’s ahead in academia, Web3 and the broader corporate world.

- Prepare questions (Rodolfo)
- You have a very unique background and a passion to unleash education across borders and domains, can you tell us a bit about yourself and why the conversation around digital skills is important to you?
- Andrej, as a co-founder of Deepwork, you have been thinking about up-skilling a decentralized workforce. Can you give us a quick intro into what Deepwork does and what are the big challenges and opportunities you see when it comes to skilling workers in the Web3 space?
- Phil, let’s talk about the big problems you see with education and skills acquisition. What are the lessons learned from what has been tried in academia and the corporate world?
- Andrej, tell us about your vision for Skills in the Web3 space. What gets you excited? What are the big hypotheses that need to be tested out?

- Intro
- Thanks for joining us, my name is Milena, and I am Rodolfo. As Web3 and fully remote work continue to evolve, the nature of work and organizations is being reshaped before our eyes. At Decentrawork, part of Deepwork Studio, we explore the edges of decentralized work, community building and web3 organizations.
- Today we have two amazing speakers: First, Phil Komarny, Chief Innovation Officer at Maryville University. Phil is a consummate innovator and advocate non-traditional skills pathways. We will also be joined by Andrej, co-founder of Deepwork studio, an innovation studio focused in the Web3 space. Previous work includes projects with <Andrej...>
