Treasury Ops Workflow

Goals

The primary objective of Treasury Ops is to ensure that all contributors receive timely and accurate payments and that MMM is financially secure.

Hazards

• Late or missing payments: Late payments or payment errors, such as sending the payment to the wrong address, leading to people not getting paid on time
• Multi-sig difficulties: Trouble getting signers online at the right time
• Impact to Gitcoin token: selling tokens in bulk would negatively impact the value of the token

Skill Requirements

The specific skill requirements for this position include:

• Ethereum Experience: Understanding of how Ethereum works and how transactions are conducted on the Ethereum blockchain
• Adaptability: Being able to easily shift to using different tools to process transactions if the intended app doesn’t function properly
• Organization: Tracking multiple contributors and budgets. Ensuring all payments are initiated accurately.
• Treasury Management: Making financially intelligent decisions to ensure financial stability for MMM
